Program Director

Job Responsibilities 
•    Assist the Co-ED to strategically grow new programs and develop existing programs
•    Lead program marketing initiatives to increase awareness of organization and offerings
•    Deliver hands-on programming in the summer, and likely on Saturdays and school vacations
•    Represent Cambridge Camping in community network meetings and partnerships
•    Develop, recruit, and maintain a network of seasonal and contract staff
•    Hire year-round and summer seasonal program staff
•    Submit employment records and timesheet reports for payroll
•    Participate in annual program development and fundraising cycle
•    Participate in staff meetings, events, professional development and professional supervision
•    Identify other potential areas for growth. (Public policy/advocacy as an example)
•    Engage with the Cambridge community around all issues relevant to CCA programs
•    Together with Co-ED, design and implement ongoing staff training
•    Assess program quality and provide oversight, supervision and support to program staff
•    Ensure program outcomes, goals and objectives are met 
•    Strengthen CCA’s anti-racism and DEI work and commitments

Skills and Experience
●    Bachelor’s degree required; relevant master’s degree preferred
●    Experience working in youth programs with youth from under-resourced circumstances
●    Experience working with youth and families impacted by trauma
●    Program development
●    5 years’ experience in non-profit setting preferred
●    Building strong relationships within nonprofit, for profit and public/municipal communities  
●    Respectful, inclusive, and effective leader and developer of staff
●    Exceptional communication skills
●    Social media and information technology knowledge and curiosity 
●    Loves working with children, and comfortable working with children impacted by trauma and disability who have social, emotional and behavioral health needs

Salary: $60,000-65,000
