Sarah Littlefield, EdM – known to colleagues and friends as Gordo – joined Cambridge Camping at the start of 2024 as Co-Executive Director based in Cambridge. She has extensive experience in program development, staff training and facilitation, change management, community-building, business development, operational efficiency, and advocacy. For many years, Gordo served as a leader and steward at the Aloha Foundation, a Vermont-based non-profit running summer and year-round programs for children and families. After Gordo’s last summer as Program Director at Aloha Camp, it was named to Newsweek’s list of Best Summer Camps in America (2023). Prior to taking on the year-round role at Aloha, Gordo founded and built BrightStar Care Boston North, a home health care company committed to providing a higher standard of care to individuals, families, and partners. Throughout her career, Gordo has brought vision and humility to her work creating inclusive, collaborative communities. She is excited to engage with CCA’s mission to make out-of-school time and summer programming accessible to youth from under-resourced circumstances.
