This is Andrew Spooner’s second tour on the CCA board, the first coming more than 20 years ago! In that time, and throughout his career in youth services, Andrew’s work has focused on program development, management and community-level planning in small agencies, public schools, consulting, and municipal government. As a proud alum of the Boston University School of Social Work and as an unabashed Cambridge booster, he has encouraged graduate students to work in several Cambridge agencies, including ours! Outside of work, Andrew has enjoyed raising two CRLS grads – fourth-generation Cantabridgians – with his wife, Bliss, a renowned nonprofit development professional. Andrew is pretty certain that his first and only camp experience, sometime in the early 70’s, was made possible by Cambridge Camping, and he is very excited to be able to give something back.
