Jacobus
Biostatistician, Dana Farber Cancer Institute

Susanna moved to the Boston area from New Your City in 2001 for graduate school, earning a Master of Science in 2003 from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health with a concentration in pharmacoepidemiology. This marked a career transition away from health care consulting and investment banking to research. She joined the Department of Data Science at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) soon after graduation. Her collaborative work with investigators, locally at DFCI and nationally through the ECOG-ACRIN cooperative group network, centers on clinical research advancing treatment for multiple myeloma (MM) as well as understanding underlying molecular biology and disease risk factors. Susanna joined the Cambridge Camping Board of Directors over a decade ago out of an interest to lift up the summer experience of disadvantaged neighborhood children.
