Brady
Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair
Nonprofit Bookkeeper, Cambridge

Catherine has worked in non-profit finance and admin for over 25 years and has lived in Cambridge since 1980. A passion for social justice has led her to paid and volunteer positions in a range of organizations working for social change, including women’s and LGBTQ rights, immigrant’s rights and international human rights movement building. Catherine spent eight intense, meaningful years doing grassroots organizing around issues of corporate responsibility with Corporate Accountability International/Infact through the eighties and early nineties. Catherine and her partner were the 163rd queer couple in the country to be granted an “Intent to Marry” when, at midnight on May 17th 2004, Cambridge began registering same-sex couples to be married. Their out-of-wedlock daughter was ten years old at the time. Many of Catherine’s most blissful life experiences were during camping trips and at Girl Scout camps. She believes deeply in the ability of nature to nurture and heal our souls. The outdoor experiences CCA builds into all camp programs are wonderful gifts we give to every camper, and are part of the foundation of CCA’s power to transform lives.
