Now that the snow is starting to melt and the days are getting longer, it’s time to start thinking about SUMMER! If you’re like me, you’ve had quite enough of winter--the sub-zero windy days, back-wrenching snow storms, and seemingly endless searches for a parking spot. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Matt Kelsey. Since becoming the new director of CADC, I’ve had an extra skip in my step braving these frigid temperatures as I look forward to all of the fun ahead at camp this summer!
In just a few short months, campers will be dancing with Shakeela, swimming with Matt and Mae, playing kickball with Jerard and Bryan, and going on scavenger hunts with Stef. And of course, it wouldn’t be Cambridge ADVENTURE Day Camp without heading out on plenty of excursions to pools, ponds, and beaches, as well as playgrounds and farms (to name a few!) But what I’m looking forward to most is all of the great friendships--both new and old--that are made and re-made every summer. In addition to those listed above, campers can look forward to fun with Taylor, Lauren, Annie, Jodie, Amy, and Bridget, as well as new staff who will bring their own talents and energy to an already terrific group!
So kids, tell your parents to sign up for CADC! And parents--don’t let your kids miss out on a terrific summer of fun, friends, and new experiences. I hope everyone has a safe and healthy Spring, and as it gets warmer and brighter, think Summer! Think CADC!
